compiz package

cube will not spin in ubuntu 8-10

i have installed ubuntu 8-10 and its great picked up my 3 dongle email and internet ok.
Set up cube but it will spin away and come back.
i have 4 desktops in the bottom right hand but they will only change full desk top and will not spin away.
any ideas to help

Please be sure you have installed the compizconfig-settings-manager package

what do i do with the bindings tabs to make the cube spin in space before it comes back to another desk top.

I can't follow you.
By the way if you have any issue with compiz please try to remove it.

Please press ctrl+alt+f2 make login with your user and password the type:

sudo apt-get --purge remove compiz

Than you can reinstall it... and reconfigure settings...
