Why effects do not appear?

    I found Ubuntu 7.10 of the effect have problem or not support ATI Mobility X600 SE card. Because I'm downloaded compiz,but it says copsite extension is not avalible, when I downloaded copsite extension, it still says copsite extension is not avalible. What happen on my Ubuntu or My ASUS M9V Laptop?

Try installing or upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04.1.

I was upgrade m ubuntu to 8.04,but it still said desktop effects can not be opened .
