compiz manager crash

hi every body
I'm kind of new in Ubuntu world so i installed compiz manager... and i tried somthing in the desktop option ( rotating cube ) .... i'm not sure exactly what i did but right now there is no desk top icon no side bar no thing except for an empty wallpaper screen the only thing i can open is the Terminal .
help now

When you log in, you can select Unity2D session (use the Ubuntu logo next to your username to change session). You can then undo the changes you made

Compiz config settings manager is a dangerous program. You must know
what to do in case you want to use it.

Now you must remove all you settings so everything going back to begin.

|rm -rf .compiz* .gconf* .config/dconf/ .config/compiz*

reboot your PC and then run

unity --reset

wait for 10 minutes (top) and then logout - login .
