compiz package

after trying to use desktop cube , desktop wall and all other desktop things are unable to use now...

I downloaded synaptic and then installed compizconfig settings manager from terminal and wanted to use desktop cube instead of desktop wall and it disabled desktop wall, not enabled desktop cube and all other desktop panels are gone now...
Is there a way to restore the first desktop ?
Hope somebody can help me.

+ alt tab is not working.
+ I can't see the bar which includes time/date/connection/messages etc.
+left bar is also gone .
( I don't know their names because I'm totally new ubuntu user and I'm trying to show you my problem as well as I can do...)

tried to do one of these luckily ...problem solved. forever alone eheh.

xxx@ubuntu:~$ sudo gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz-1
unity --reset

xxx@ubuntu:~$ unity --reset
