Compiz 3d made Natty 11.04 crash

I installed Compiz and enabled the rotate cube. The screen locked up and when I rebooted, Ive lost my desktop - left hand toolbar gone and icons - all I have is the desktop wallpaper. I tried Ctrl + Alt + T nothing...only keyboard command that will work is F2.....please help Thank You

logged into Ubuntu Classic and typed unity --replace...fixed everything!

logged Back In under Ubuntu Classic, everything seems the same as Natty desktop....split screen and trash can are in bottom right.

I typed in terminal: unity --reset
