how do I reset compiz setting manager back to default

I was messing around with compiz trying to set up the 3D cube and everything got messed up where I cant do anything

I dont want to have to reinstall ubuntu and I cant even access terminal by hitting ALt+Crtl +T, I cant do any thing as there is no unity bar, top panel only just the background.

so how do I set every thing back to the way it was?

I used terminal command unity- reset or was it unity -reset but thanks for the info
