I couldn't able to drag the "Terminal" window by anyways

Asked by vsn1985

I tried some stuff called Compiz for extra visual effects. After enabling few effects like, windows blurring, fading etc. I entered into a big problem. Every thing on home screen was gone including "application" icon at top left corner, side bar and even "Turn off" button on top right corner. I managed to bring back by booting in safe mode and recovered from this issue. From then, I couldn't able to drag any windows I open. Every thing is sticking to top left corner. I could not see properly. Please some one help me as soon as possible.

This is actually a question of why compiz is not set as the window manager

Search for CompizConfig Settings Manager.
Install it via apt-get or Ubuntu Software Center.
After installation, you can find the app under: System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager.
You can tweak the way it behaves.

I tried tweaking setting in CompizConfig. Actually it is further messing up. For example if check in "Move windows" in"Windows management", I'm getting out of CompizConfig screen and system hanging up. I need to reboot to overcome this. Finally, I came back Ubuntu Classic and not going to disturb any visual setting anymore. Anyways, thanks for everyone.
