Aero peek and itunes integration and cd drive

Asked by jeremy herbert

I am running ubuntu 11.04 using the classic GNOME interface, not unity.
You know how it windows 7 there is a feature called aero peek? How can i get that for ubuntu?

You know how banshee integrates with the ubuntu panel like this:
is there any way i could do this with itunes running on wine?

also ubuntu doesn't see my cd drive when i put a disk into it. when there is no disk however, it sees the drive.

I have no idea what Aero peek is and assuming everyone does is ignorant at best. can you please explain what you desire and we may be able to advise.

in windows 7 basically is when you hover over a program running in the bottom panel, a little preview image of the window pops up, and you can hover over that preview image to see the window, and even click it to go to it. also you can preview the desktop by hovering over the show desktop button. so how can i do this or something similar with ubuntu?

It's a plugin in ccsm. Just enable it and it will show. You can change the size of the preview window in there too
