How to reset compiz setting to defaults?

I have downloaded compiz in my ubuntu 11.04. After enabling some effects the window theme border are not working(not present). Nothing happens after changing the theme. So I want to reset compiz setting to its default.How can I make it default setting?

if you run:

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz

Should be ok. Source:

Sorry sir the command is not working at all. Nothing changes in my system. Now I am using ubuntu classic desktop as there is no window border in unity. I want to know how to reset compiz to its defaults ,for both unity and classic .

Hi, try to run this in terminal:

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz-1
unity --reset
