compiz blank main screen

I have downloaded XGL/Compiz and was trying out the new features, when I clicked on the Cube, something popped up, cant remember what it was but I clicked in Disable or something, and now when I reboot, nothing shows up on the main screen, lol I think I did something, but now I cant get to nothing... I had to open an icon (folder) to be able to open my internet.. Can someone help me.. Thanks

If running a Unity session, the popup probably told you that Cube conflicts with Wall and if you like to disable it. If you do this and at the same time automated plugin sorting is enabled there might be trouble ahead.

## Workarounds
Switch to tty (virtual console text mode only): ctrl+alt+f1
Login with username and passwd.
Type:
unity --reset

Switch back to desktop: ctrl+alt+f7
or reboot from tty:
sudo reboot

If above doesn't help try it with:
unity --replace

@Sam: That worked! Thanks a ton....I'm pretty sure I clicked on the 'Cube' setting and that is what caused my issue. The --reset cmd worked like a charm.
