Is Comix in xubuntu 18.4 LTS ?

Asked by HMag

I did not find it in the software center.
I found a "MComix" but I faced many blocking bugs at the first execution.
Which other alternative, I mean, one that has been tested ?
Thanks!
HMag

LP: #1746406 remove packages depending on python-imaging

and also see Debian bug https://bugs.debian.org/866421

comix depends on the obsolete package python-imaging which is no more provided in Ubuntu 18.04
As long as the developers of comix do not provide a modified package that works without python-imaging (but maybe with its successor python-pil) it will not be available in Ubuntu 18.04.

(Remark: As far as I see there is the same unmet dependency also for mcomix.)
