Hi.
Is any plans to update cockpit-machines package to latest version in focal-backports?
Most of cockpit-* packages is already updated, but not cockpit-machines...

I suggest you report a bug if there are incompatibilities between the applications. This will get the package updated sooner rather than later.

There is a PPA with version 255-1 https://launchpad.net/~ddstreet/+archive/ubuntu/backport

Remark:
cockpit-machines is built from a different source than the other cockpit-* packages, see https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=all&section=all&arch=any&keywords=cockpit&searchon=sourcenames
