Add TFTP to possible nocloud-net protocols

Asked by J. Desroches on 2020-07-31

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, I couldn't find anywhere else to make a feature request.

It would be nice to be able to pass the cloud-init user data using a TFTP address and not only a HTTP(S). This would enable administrators using PXE over TFTP to use the same server to serve the nocloud cloud-init data, instead of having to run a HTTP server as well. This is especially useful as canonical is moving over to cloud-init to provide autoinstall configuration [0].

What does the team think ?
