how about C++ / clang++?

Asked by Peter Schüller

since the release of clang++ 2.9 and boost 1.46 there are stable releases of boost/clang that work together quite well. when will the clang++ >= 2.9 be included in ubuntu or in some ppa as a package? (preferrably together with boost 1.46)

I've found PPAs with 2.8 with boost 1.46

https://launchpad.net/~nctusdk/+archive/ppa

You could contact the maintainer to see if they intend to add 2.9..

A colleague sent me the following links which answer the question:

http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/clang
http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/libboost-all-dev

This means clang 2.9 and boost 1.46 will be in ubuntu 11.10.
