clamav package

I have installed freshclam from the repository using synaptic manager but there is no evidence of it anywhere in my lists/ accessories so how can I use it theres no icon

I have installed freshclam from the list in the repositories so that I can have a virus scanner but there is nothing in my accessories that shows this and it isn't in any of the other lists so where is it how can I use it I installed firestarter and that showed straight away

I guess you have installed:
Clamav: anti-virus utility for Unix - command-line interface
Clamav-freshclam: anti-virus utility for Unix - virus database update utility

You will need to install "clamtk" . ClamTk is a GUI front-end for ClamAV.
http://clamtk.sourceforge.net/index.html

So open Synaptic - Write "clamtk" in the search box, and install it.
