best anti virus for ubuntu linux

hi
i need some infomation on which av is best for ubuntu linux 12.04 ,

i am not very good with command line as i have only been using ubuntu for a few months , i have tried to use clam av but i found that it wasnt to my liking

is their one which can be downloaded of the software centre of ubuntu

In the Linux world viruses are pretty much unheard of so you probably don't need any.

Provided that you have passwords on all accounts (that change change anything), spend very little time (if any) logged in as root. Ubuntu does not even generate a root account by default; use of sudo is recommended instead.

ok thanks i think i will go for avg seems easy enough to use thanks for your assistance i am very grateful
