want to download avast

I am trying to download and install Avast, I am using Ubuntu 10.10 When I go to the download page for Avast linux home edition it has three choices RPM package, DEB package, and TAR GZ package. RPM and TAR GZ open with Archive manager DDEB opens with the ubuntu software center but doesn't work it says wrong architecture 'i386' what should I do?

If you are using Ubuntu 64 bits, then you have to install a 64 bit version of Avast, which I suspect doesn't exist.
