5 minutes to get try/install choice: how to skip?

Asked by Charles Evans

Trying Cinnamon lunar:
Booted livecd from sd card
On both intel and amd systems
5 minutes to prompt try/install
Switched to terminal while waiting,
After Casper-md5 finished still a few minutes delay with 0 CPU load
How do I skip the install prompt and just try the livecd?
