cannot mount CIFS from shell: Input/output error
I have just made new live USB from Ubuntu 12.04.3 amd64, but I cannot mount cifs from shell, but I can access share point with Nautilus. I was able to make that mount point with live USB Ubuntu 12.04.2 with all the updates. So the only diff I would say was kernel.
