remove Google Chrome

Using Ubuntu 10.10, I can't seem to remove Google Chrome. Can't find it in software center. I don't understand how to use synaptic package manager. Please help. Thanks

can you give the output of:
dpkg -l | grep -i chrom

The packet name is chromium.
In Synaptic, at upper right you have a little search window. Type inside "chrom", and after sort installed packets by clicking on column head at top of squares. You should see, if I remember, two packets installed (green square). Un-install them.
