struuggling to update chrome browser, or chromium, no ideas.

Im still lost as to wether Im supposed to use chromium or chrome inside of our linux.??? and struggle each friking time I have to update anything. especially google stuff. ughhhhhh.! plz help me thank you kindly. ps... I tried just clicking on re-install chrome, again not sure which one to even work with btut Im lost. please and thank you kindly. angieford.roseburg oregon

You can use either or both there is no "supposed to" in this context.

To install Google Chrome from the terminal, get the DEB file using the wget command:

wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

Now you can use dpkg to install Chrome from the downloaded DEB file:

sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

That’s it. Now you can find Google Chrome in the menu and start it from there.
