Timely Chromium updates for ARM64 Raspberry Pi

Asked by Mark Smith

Chromium updates are very much delayed on ARM64 Raspberry Pi compared to x86-64. Given that there are often security fixes with these updates, it would be nice to see, the ARM64 candidate and release snaps kept up to date with the x86-64 ones. I wouldn't think it would be hard to run the ARM64 builds at the same time as the x86-64 builds.

Are you talking about the *.deb package or the snap version?

The *.deb packages are built for all architectures at the same time, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser

For the snap version, this is not the right address for asking, please see https://forum.snapcraft.io/
