python-cheetah upgrade to 2.4

Hi, the python-cheetah package is based on cheetah 2.0.1 which is now over 2 years old, is it possible for this to be upgraded to the a more recent version or even the latest: 2.4. Quite a number of bug fixes and performance improvements have been made since 2.0.1
