Webcam no found on Cheese

I just install Ubuntu 20-04, then I install Cheese but it do not detect my USB webcam, that's a Creative one
I install Cheese two times but it didn't recognize my webcam

Did you restart the computer after installing "cheese" ?
It should detect during the startup.

Is the computer a laptop with an onboard webcam?
If so what type, model etc.
Or-
an add-on web cam for a desktop computer.
model and name of webcam. Details help lots.

You could reinstall Ubuntu 22.04 which has cheese installed out of the box.
Which is good until April 2027 with regular updates.

No it's a desktop without webcam, I installed one on USB port, it's a Creative one model N° CT6840.

unfortunately all driver I saw, were for M$S, but not for Linux, I did:

But OmniVision Technologies, Inc. doesn't show drivers for this webcam.
I'll appreciate any help with this issue
