How do I access my built in recorder?

I do not know how to access my built in web cam and I need it for a semester test tomorrow. Please help.

Hi ,
please open a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and install an application that will help you to locate your WebCam. This application will show if your WebCam recognized correctly from Ubuntu.

$ sudo apt-get install cheese

Then search and find and open this application and see if your WebCam working.
