If your not successful finding a driver for your Chicony usb webcam, and need to purchase a new Webcam,
i would recommend Logitech Webcam USB,as i have ,it has a UVC driver,it works Perfectly with Ubuntu and Cheese,straight out of the box,it also works,with Skype.
