Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a

If you install and run cheese, do you see yourself?

Hi,

This is the output :
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
Codename: maverick

I will try now to install "cheese"...

When trying to install "cheese" I got the following ERROR :

"An error occurred

The following details are provided :

W: Failed to fetch http://il.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/c/cheese/libcheese-gtk18_2.32.0-0ubuntu1_i386.deb

Is there any other application I can install instead or there is a way to solve this error?

Thanks,

Meital
