problems connecting to internal camera on Sony Vaio VGN-Cr220e& Linux Ubuntu 10.10

Asked by Tylor Johnson on 2011-04-18

I installed Linux Ubuntu 10.10 on my Laptop: Sony Vaio VGN-Cr220e, and I cannot get the computer to recognize the internal camera as a device. I looked at other forums and tried Cheese, but had no luck with it. Is there something wrong with the way I set up Ubuntu or what? I appreciate the help.
