webcam drivers problem LogitechHD C910 Pro

Logitech webcam HD C910 Pro works intermitenly wit different problems online... sound works but video doesn't or the other way around. Cant figure it out .. Tried talking to Logitech but they do not support Linux ad for what I hear they don't support Mac to well either.. ICan it be a configuration issue. Please help

If you run:

sudo apt-get install mplayer; mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2 device=/dev/video0

Do you see yourself?

Then it's working. When you don't get video one day, try the command.
