another instance of camera monitor is already running when double clicking camera monitor icon

i am using ubuntu 8.04. when i double clicking camera monitor icon it shows another instance of camera monitor is already running .what can i do ?

Then may be it is really working? May be it is set to load automatically when you log in Ubuntu.

Also having this problem with 10.04.
If Camera Monitor is automatically started at gnome session openning then why is it not installed within synaptic or softstore ?
