Camera Monitor does not work since i have installed ubuntu 10.04

Asked by Steffen

Hi!

I use camera monitor as one of my auto start applications.
On Ubuntu 9.10 all worked fine.
Now i have upgraded to 10.04 (with a new installation and using my separate /home partition).
Now it does not work and it tells "Another instance of camera monitor is running!".
But there is no process named camera monitor when i enter killall cameramonitor.
And if i start the Cheese Webcam application it does not tell me the camera is on.
I think it could have to do with the old files in my home folder, but there are no files of it to find. I have also checked the hidden ones.

If anyone has an idea it would be fine.

Thanks!

Steffen
