GUI stopped displaying.

Asked by OldF*rt

I have used Calibre for a number of years. For the last week when I open the software the GUI does not display - it seems to be hidden to the right of my default screen.
This as happen before but resolved itself with a re-boot.

I have not installed any new software & don't recall any Windows updates.
I am using a 4 screen display on Windows 10 Pro
- 64-bit operating system.
I have re-download the latest version & used both "Change" & "Repair" options, to no avail.

Can you please supply a link or advise on resolving this issue. I am a 70yr old non-techie :)

You write that you think that the screen is somewhere to the right.

Try the following:

Use alt-tab to switch to that invisible window
press and hold the windows key and press the left arrow key, release both keys
this should reposition the window to fill the left half of your screen
use the mouse on the right rim of that window to enlarge it

If that does not work, you can try a different procedure:

Press alt-space and press the m key
press the left arrow key several times to move the invisible window to the left until you can see it
press the enter key to position the window.
