calibre package

can find no preferences or gear icon

using ver. 5++ just downloaded from calibre. it opens saying at the top

calibre - || calibre library || this may not be a bug but i see no "preferences" or settings icon. where is it? i want to install a plugin but find no way to do it.

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy calibre

never mind, my display on screen is slightly larger to help me read text. i discovered that stretching out the app found preferences.
