install caffe with python 2.7 support

Is it any way to install caffe with python 2.7 support using sudo apt install caffe-cpu in ubuntu 17.04? (instead of python 3 support)

You could compile the source against python 2.7 it may need the newer features in python 3 to work so you may be out of luck there. Contacting the devs of Caffe may get a response.
