bad colour byobu-select-profile

Profiles not working in Ubuntu 17.04:

$ byobu-tmux
(tmux -u -2 -f /usr/share/byobu/profiles/tmuxrc new-session -n - /usr/bin/byobu-shell)

$ byobu-select-profile
Select the background color:
  1. default_light
  2. default_dark
  3. white
  4. black
  5. grey
  6. dark_grey
  7. light_grey
  8. blue
  9. light_blue
 10. cyan
 11. light_cyan
 12. green
 13. light_green
 14. purple
 15. light_purple
 16. red
 17. light_red
 18. yellow
 19. brown

Selected background [light_red]
bad colour: light_red
bad colour: light_red
bad colour: light_red
bad colour: light_red

$ byobu-tmux --version
byobu version 5.116
tmux 2.3

Any ideas?

Well, that was what I did but not pasted the output entirely, after choosing the color with the number, it generates the list again as the previous code shows. I paste full output now:

$ byobu-select-profile

Select the background color:
  1. default_light
  2. default_dark
  3. white
  4. black
  5. grey
  6. dark_grey
  7. light_grey
  8. blue
  9. light_blue
 10. cyan
 11. light_cyan
 12. green
 13. light_green
 14. purple
 15. light_purple

 19. brown

Choose 1-20 [5]: 17

Select the background color:
  1. default_light
  2. default_dark
  3. white
  4. black
  5. grey
  6. dark_grey
  7. light_grey
  8. blue
  9. light_blue
 10. cyan
 11. light_cyan
 12. green
 13. light_green
 14. purple
 15. light_purple
 16. red
 17. light_red

It only works for: white, black, blue, cyan, green, red, yellow.

Hmm, good catch. Frankly, I think it's time that we deprecate this color profile script. I wasn't aware that anyone was using it anymore :-)

Well there is one here ;-) I'm fine with deprecating it, but what would be an alternative approach to customize its colors?
