Why is there no Focal package?

Asked by Myriam Schweingruber

I wanted to try bub today with the integrated Plasma backup tool Kup, sadly there is no package for 20.04 aka Focal? Is there an ETA?

Exactly. What does the application do? Maybe we can suggest an alternative

Not really an alternative as Kup uses either Bup or rsync, so one of the options is unusable now due to Python2 being deprecated. I'll get in touch with the Kup team to see what they plan for the future
