Maverick is alpha and btrfs is not yet officially supported. It is possible.

Maverick is still in Alpha so will have MASSIVE flaws and glitches. It still has 3 or 4 months of development before it's release in October so there will be glitches, bugs and crashing galore. If you want to log Maverick bugs to improve it then by all mean install Maverick but do not expect a smooth ride. If you want an OS that works then I suggest you install Lucid or Karmic

Maverick is NOT released and NOT ready, it's that simple. I suggest you create a bug of your experiences to let the devs know what you are experiencing.

Can you help with this problem?
