problem burning cds

when i set up the songs i want to burn and click burn disc, it runs through the normal process of setting it self up
but when it starts to, the load box wont go any further than saying "normalizing tracks" and it wont continue burning the cd. i need help

they say you can use k3b has a better system of burning

sometimes cds are bad, and there is a very efficient recording
