brasero package

Please replace the disc with a supported CD or DVD

"It is not possible to write with the current set up plug-ins."

I am using a DVD +R and have installed ffmpeg, vcdimager and dvdauthor as suggested but i dont know what plug ins are required to complete this task as it doesn't tell you anywhere.

Also it might be worth opening up

System - Administration - Synaptic Package Manager

and use the seach button to find "brasero" and do the updates and maybe add the 2 libraries :)

I had a similar problem.
I installed DeVeDe using the synaptic package manager.
With this package I was able to make a .iso dvd image.
I was then able to use brasero to burn that .iso file.
I have not used dvdauthor but you might try doing it in two steps also: first make .iso then burn it.

Can you help with this problem?
