copying audio cd hangs

I am trying to duplicate an audio cd using the single drive. I tried both Brasero and Sound Juicer and I get the same problem with both. It comes up Copying CD, and an orange bar goes back and forth. Below it says Copying audio track with nothing after it. Below that it says Estimated drive speed: with nothing after it. And it just stays that way with no progress. I eventually have to just stop the program. Any idea what's wrong? I can copy the files to the computer without problem, and I can write files to a CD. But I can't use the Duplicate Audio CD function. Thanks!

Ubuntu 18.04.3 Brasero/K3B/XfBurn/SimpleBurn not writing/hanging - SOLVED

It’s a permissions problem: Change permissions in termial with these commands.

sudo chmod 4711 /usr/bin/cdrdao
sudo chmod 4711 /usr/bin/wodim
sudo chmod 0755 /user/bin/growisfs
