Brasero burns unrecognizable data disks

Asked by Graeme Leigh

Using Ubuntu 12.04. Brasero (3.4.1) has been working fine for 3 months. Now it says it has successfully burned data to a disk but produces a disk which is not recognized by anything... including the drive it was burned in.

I've been happy with Brasero up 'til now. Not certain what to replace it with. K3b or xfburn?

K3n is Qt based so will pull in 180Mb of files for dependencies. I suggest you install xfburn, it's based on GTK so matches your current desktop so will impact less. Personally, I always uninstall brasero and install xfburn.

Can you help with this problem?
