how to convert mp3 music to cd format

hi,
how will i convert the mp3 music disc to a regular music cd format ? using brasero app..
i have music in mp3 format and it won't play on my aiwa mini hi-fi but i can play the
very same music mp3 disc on my car stereo-pioneer..
i am sure it is the format of disc, my home stereo is not designed to play mp3. i checked the owner's manual.
i need and want to convert all my mp3 so i can play it on my home stereo and doing it using brasero app seems so
challenging. i don't see a button on brasero that will magically convert the file.
what is the easy step to solve my problem ?
i am using ubuntu 10.04

In my opinion the best way is to use k3b, the brasero of KDE. It works so much better than brasero.

hi,
thanks for reply, i downloaded the normalize- audio 0.7.7 tar.gz
then i opened terminal to install.. sudo apt-get install normalize-audio
i will test burning of cd again soon, i will go buy blank cds..
