brasero package

Back up to a DVD-RW-DVD and CD. Files corrupt.

Hello,

I am using 10.10 on an Acer laptop and have tried to copy data files to RW and Read Only DVD and CDs. These files are mostly documents and some other file media.

I use Brasero and the files copy OK. The copy process seems to go correctly as all the copied files show up with the correct Icon.

However, the documents open but are unreadable ###### and the other media files will not open.

I installed DVD+RW-Tools from the Synaptic but am baffled by this.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello,

This appears to be a Brasero problem. I have installed Gnome-Baker and can now back up my documents and media files to CDs, and Normal and R-W DVDs.

Brasero works perfectly for ISO and Video files.
