Problem burning CD-DVD: Drive does not support TAO recording

Have Unbuntu 10.10 - 32 bits installed on Acer Aspire 5820 TG processor Intel I5 and cannot burn CD/DVD with Brasero or other Software. It says: Drive does not support TAO recording. What can I do to solve the problem?

Fine thank you for your answer ; I guess this option can be selected in the software or should it be a made through a command line in a terminal ?

Should be in the software, just before the last click to kick off the burn
