brasero doesnot recogize cd rom drive

The disc in "TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652D" cannot be ejected

This is a Gateway GT 5404 with a cd/rw drive brasero doesnot recognize at this point

attempted sudo apt-get install brassero
terminal says latest packages installed

Please instruct on HOW to check logs for hardwire recognition

Try:

sudo apt-get install gnomebaker

and try that, personally I have had zero success with Brasero.

used sudo apt-get install gnomebaker

tested a simple set of files

clicking cd/rw , I saw the files I wanted

I guess it worked thanks
