Brasero disk copy

Asked by William Pabon

When I try to use Brasero to make a copy of an audio disk the program tells me that I need the following files to be installed first:

ccda2wav
toc2cue
cdrdao

But I couldn't find those using the Synaptic Package Manager. Anyone that can help? Thanks.

Does it work ok in gnomebaker ?

You are experiencing this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/529696

Personally I have had zero joy with Brasero and always install gnomebaker or xfburn instead.

Thanks for the info. Installed gnomebaker and it works like a charm. I think they shouldn't include on the repositories applications that are buggy. Thanks for the solution.

Thought so. I don't know why brasero is default but I always advise gnomebaker if it goes awry
