Can't burn DVDs

When I try to burn a dvd it ejects the disk. I get all the way to the end of the process and when the window "burning DVD" window appears, under the blue progress bar, it will say ejecting media, then fifteen seconds later it ejects. I applied vcdimager, mplex, and dvdauthor, although I did grab all gstreamer-bad files as I couldn't tell which contained the mplex.

Try to install another burning software? Like k3b, i.e.:

sudo apt-get install k3b

If it still does not work, maybe the problem is in disk reader?
