brasero: No checksum file

Asked by WernerKerzendorf

I am using Brasero 2.26.1 "New Data Disc Project"

Brasero starts with "Creating image" and displays:

"Creating checksum for image files"

but at the end of burning it shows in the Session-Log:

Session error : No checksum file could be found on the disc (brasero_burn_record burn.c:2599)

This sounds like a severe error.

 Is the DVD completely usefull?

What can be improved to make the checksum available and correct?

I tried several ways.

finaly I inserted a blank DVD, followed the instructions and got a burned DVD without error-messages.

Hopefully the burned DVD is flawless.

The brasero-error-message: No Checksum file found ... is not really solved.

 I estimate I found a work-around.
