Andreas, I am running 9.04 with default installation and still encounter the

problem, even after installing your version of -bad-multiverse0.10 from ppa.

output from 'ffmpeg -formats' and 'gst-inspect0.10' is as you describe above.

Is there something else I can check or attach to try to uncover what is going on?
