I added the PPA and installed the packages from it.

Running "gst-inspect0.10 | grep mpeg2" prints a line "ffmpeg: ffenc_mpeg2video: FFMPEG MPEG-2 video encoder"

But I still get the annoying "plugins" message and brasero will not burn a dvd... :(

Do you have any idea what should be done?
